According to a private source of Nghe An Newspaper, the Song Lam Nghe An (SLNA) football team will participate in V.League 2019 with a funding of 30 billion VND sponsored by Bac A Bank. In addition, the traditional name of the team will remain intact.
Responding to Nghe An Newspaper reporter, SLNA Club Executive Director, Mr. Ho Van Chiem confirmed: "Bac A Bank will continue to support SLNA team in the 2019 season. Other issues will have to wait for the Provincial People's Committee to arrange."
With this funding, SLNA players will soon receive their January and February 2019 salaries. On the other hand, foreign player Olaha Michael will officially stay at Vinh Stadium to play for SLNA for another season.
In addition, SLNA will soon complete the deal to bring Trong Hoang back to his hometown team. Regarding the budget to recruit 2 new foreign players, SLNA and the Provincial People's Committee are trying to find more funding sources.
It is expected that on February 12, the decision to sponsor SLNA will be approved by the Board of Directors of Bac A Bank. The V.League 2019 kicks off on February 23, with coach Duc Thang and his team hosting Quang Nam at Vinh Stadium in the opening match.
