French politician: President Macron's 'irresponsible' threat will lead to World War III

In an interview with The Economist magazine on May 2, French President Emmanuel Macron once again affirmed that he did not rule out the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine. President Macron stated two conditions for sending troops to Ukraine: a request from Kiev and a breakthrough from Russia on the front line. However, he emphasized that there is currently no such request from Ukraine.
European Parliament candidate Mathieu Valais said these were irresponsible statements by President Macron:"Today Russia, like France, possesses nuclear weapons. We are no longer in 1939 or 1818, when countries did not have nuclear weapons. So escalating tensions with words will not lead to anything good, except making the war worse."
According to the politician, the European Union (EU) recently approved $50 billion and the US also allocated a new aid package for Ukraine. However, all of them oppose Ukraine joining NATO and the EU.

Opposing sending troops to Ukraine, the Valais politician said that Ukraine is a sovereign, autonomous and independent country.
