Let a strange woman into the house, asked for oil massage and lost property
A stranger stopped by to ask for a friend's house in a residential area of Long Ho district (Vinh Long) and boasted that he had a bottle of essential oil to treat aches and pains, so the owner let him into the house to ask for a massage. When he woke up, he discovered that his money, gold, and phone were missing.
Long Ho District Police (Vinh Long) are investigating the strange woman who committed a theft in a residential area of Long Ho town.
According to the investigation agency, at noon on October 7, Ms. Nguyen Thi H. (residing in residential area 4, Long Ho town) was home alone when a woman on a motorbike stopped in front of the door to ask about the house of someone in the residential area.
While talking, this woman boasted that she had a bottle of American oil that was very effective in treating joint pain. Believing her words, Ms. H. invited this person into her house, lay down on the bed, took off her shirt and asked for a massage.
A while later, the homeowner fell asleep. When she woke up, Ms. H. discovered that the woman she asked to massage had left. The missing items in her pocket included a cell phone, 0.5 tael of 24K gold, and VND3,130,000 in cash.
