Husband carrying wife hit head-on by car, wife seriously injured

(Baonghean.vn) - At 2:30 p.m. on September 22, on National Highway 15A, passing through the intersection of Nam Nghia commune (Nam Dan, Nghe An), a serious traffic accident occurred, leaving one person seriously injured.

According to witnesses, when the 4-seat car with license plate 29L-7617 (driver's identity unknown) was traveling from Thanh Chuong to Vinh, due to lack of observation, it collided head-on with a motorbike with license plate 37Z9-4441 driven by the husband, carrying his wife behind, going in the opposite direction.

The strong crash caused the couple to fall onto the street. The husband suffered minor injuries while the wife was seriously injured and in critical condition and was taken to the emergency room by locals.

Traffic police of Nam Dan district police have protected the scene and clarified the cause of the accident.
