Husband stole wife's handbag on divorce court day
After the divorce hearing, the 30-year-old husband blocked his wife's car, stole her handbag, gave it to someone else, and left the scene.
On September 10, Ninh Kieu District Police (Can Tho City) is detaining Trinh Quoc Hau (30 years old, residing in An Binh Ward, Ninh Kieu District) to clarify the act of "Robbery".
According to the police, on September 7, Hau and his wife, Le Thi Huyen Trang (28 years old), went to the Ninh Kieu District People's Court to resolve a divorce case. At noon that day, Trang was riding her motorbike on Nguyen Trai Street when Hau chased and blocked her way.

Hau was accused of choking Trang, stealing her handbag and giving it to a group of people in a car. The group then left the scene. An Hoi Ward police have invited those involved to come in for questioning.
Hau brought the bag back to Trang, inside were many pieces of jewelry, including necklace, earrings, gold ring, Samsung S8 phone and 8 million VND.
The police are consolidating records to clarify the actions of Hau and the group of people involved in the incident.
