On the afternoon of December 26, Vung Tau City Police coordinated with Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Police to conduct a crime scene investigation, autopsy, and investigate the death of Ms. Nguyen Thi TQ (born in 1977, residing in Ward 7, Vung Tau City).

Previously, due to conflicts and arguments, at around 1:00 p.m. on December 26, at a house in alley 399, Truong Cong Dinh street, Mr. Nguyen Phong Quang (born in 1968, Ms. Q.'s husband) used a knife to stab his wife, causing Ms. Q. to die on the spot.

Knowing that his wife had died, Mr. Quang took a shower, changed his bloody clothes, calmly locked the door, and went to the police station in Ward 7, Vung Tau City to confess that he had killed his wife.

At the scene, the wife's body was in the kitchen, initially identified as having two stab wounds in the neck and chest. A neighbor of the couple said that they had never heard the couple argue before, and that they looked very much in love. At the time of the murder, they did not hear any arguing, and only when the police arrived to cordon off the scene did the neighbors learn about the incident.

Police recovered the weapon at the scene and took the husband's statement to investigate the case./.
