Addicted husband with 3 criminal records stands guard while his wife goes stealing
Truong was addicted to drugs and had 3 criminal records. He asked his wife to go with him to steal property and get money to spend.
On December 9, Tam Binh District Police (Dong Thap) announced that the investigation agency had prosecuted and temporarily detained Pham Minh Truong (34 years old) and banned Bui Thi Be Ba (31 years old, Truong's wife, both residing in Long Phu commune) from leaving their place of residence to investigate the act of "Theft of property".

According to the investigation agency, on the morning of March 7, Mr. Dinh Van Bao (44 years old) discovered a thief breaking in and stealing 15 million VND. The police conducted an investigation and determined that Truong and his wife were the perpetrators, but both of them fled.
On December 2, Truong was arrested by Vinh Long City Police for petty theft. At the investigation agency, Truong stated that on March 7, he drove his wife on Provincial Road 909 on a motorbike to steal property.
When arriving at Mr. Bao's house, Truong stood guard outside while his wife broke into the house to steal property.
Through investigation, Truong committed 3 other thefts in Tam Binh district. Truong was addicted to drugs and had 3 previous convictions for intentional injury, theft and resisting law enforcement officers.
