Resisting law enforcement officers

(Baonghean.vn) -On May 3rd, Hoang Van Duc (born in 1989) and Ngo Van Duy (born in 1986), both residing in Phuc Loc Ward, Vinh Tan Commune, Vinh City, surrendered to the authorities for resisting arrest.

Previously, at approximately 4:30 PM on May 1, 2013, a fight broke out between several young men in Phuc Loc neighborhood, Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City. Nguyen Ba Thu, the neighborhood security team leader, arrived to resolve the situation but was attacked by Duc and Duy with bricks, hitting him on the head (Thu was unharmed because he was wearing a helmet). Following the incident, a team from the Vinh Tan Ward Police went to Duc's house to request his presence, but he refused to cooperate and even threw beer bottles at the officers.
