Husband murdered wife then attempted suicide
Due to a family conflict, the man murdered his wife, who was 6 years younger than him, and then attempted suicide but failed.

On January 18, Bac Lieu Provincial Police said that after a day of emergency treatment, Mr. Tang Van Tinh (39 years old, in Ward 2, Bac Lieu City) has overcome the critical stage and is being monitored for continued treatment.
"Initially, he admitted that he killed his wife and then committed suicide due to family conflicts," the police said, adding that they were completing the investigation results to handle the case.
Yesterday morning, Mr. Tinh and his wife's neighbors knocked on the door but no one answered. When they entered the house to check, they discovered Ms. Trieu Thi Phuong (33 years old)lying dead in a pool of blood, with wounds on his body.The husband lying next to her, also injured, was taken to the emergency room.
