Public opinion agrees and supports
Mr. Vo Hoang Vu (a resident of District 8, Ho Chi Minh City) strongly agrees with the conclusion on handling violations in land use at the Air Defense - Air Force Service. This is extremely necessary at a time when the Party and the State are determined to prevent and combat corruption as well as resolve the petitions and concerns of State management units and related units regarding land, finance, communications, etc. This is also the trust that the people place in the leadership of the Party and the State.
Not only these cases, but also for Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Vo Hoang Vu suggested that in the coming time, the Inspection Committees at all levels continue to take drastic, specific, and thorough actions, make timely conclusions, and propose appropriate handling measures, thereby bringing back the trust of the people.
“At specific times, when people have complaints, the functional units of Ho Chi Minh City should resolve them thoroughly and not prolong them, causing a loss of trust. In reality, people still do not trust the city's handling of the problem and have to seek intervention from the Central Government. There are still many problems that the Central Inspection Committee needs to continue to take care of, and the city's leaders need to continue to pay attention to handling violations related to planning complaints and land use violations in the area," Mr. Vo Hoang Vu shared.
The Central Inspection Commission's proposal to consider and discipline the Party Committee of the Ministry of Information and Communications and related individuals; to consider and discipline the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and related individuals of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam..., has also received special attention from party members and people of Yen Bai province.
Mr. Nguyen Duy (Hong Ha ward, Yen Bai city) said that the consideration of disciplinary action against officials who have committed violations continues to show the determination of the Party and State to fight corruption and negativity, not to be lenient with anyone, regardless of their position or leadership level. Party members and people always agree, support, closely monitor and hope that all violations must be strictly handled to deter, prevent and limit negative and wrongful manifestations.
Voter Lo Van Dung (Noong Het commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province) assessed that the work of preventing and fighting corruption in recent times has had positive changes, creating good effects for society.
Through media monitoring, people also see cases and major corruption cases involving former high-ranking officials, officials holding important positions in the State apparatus, when discovered, they are also strictly handled, with the right person and the right crime. People believe that is a fairness.
"In the coming time, I hope our Party will have more drastic solutions in the work of preventing and fighting corruption, achieving higher efficiency, cleaning up the government apparatus, and recovering lost state assets caused by corruption," said Mr. Lo Van Dung.
Generals who make mistakes are more dangerous than other officials.
Mr. Ngo Quan (in Ward 5, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province) said that considering disciplinary action against high-ranking generals who committed violations makes people more confident in the Central Government's fight against corruption.
He said: "Even in the military, there are no forbidden zones. High-ranking generals who make mistakes are more dangerous than low-ranking officials, so strict handling is right. It also shows the determination of the Politburo and the Central Executive Committee. The entire Party and the entire people are focusing on fighting corruption. If those mistakes are not handled openly and transparently, it will affect the whole situation."
Agreeing with the decision of the Central Inspection Commission to discipline by expelling from the Party Mr. Le Nam Tra - former member of the Party Executive Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, former Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Members of Mobifone Corporation, Mr. Tran Giang (Dong My ward, Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province) said that people are expecting the Party's inspection work to increasingly demonstrate its role as a "gatekeeper", making our Party stronger and more trusted by the people.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoanh (in Hoa Thuan Tay ward, Hai Chau district, Da Nang city) commented: “The disciplinary action of expelling Mr. Le Nam Tra from the Party is thorough and very welcome. The timely action is to serve as a lesson for cadres and party members to train themselves and create more trust in the people. Handling people is fine, but the recovery of lost assets must be done thoroughly”./.
