Final list of players called up for the Vietnam U23 team.
In preparation for two friendly matches against Kashima Antlers and the Myanmar U23 team on June 4th and 11th, coach Hoang Van Phuc has officially announced the list of 26 Vietnamese U23 players who will officially gather in Hanoi from May 28th.
Immediately after signing a two-year contract to lead the national team and the U23 national team, Coach Hoang Van Phuc and his assistants in the coaching staff compiled a list of the U23 Vietnam team that would be called up for the first of four training camps in 2013 to prepare for the goal of reaching the final of the men's football event at the 27th SEA Games.

The U23 Vietnam team's squad for this training camp includes all the best players who are still within the age range to participate in the SEA Games.
SLNA, the team currently leading the V-League 2013 standings, contributed five players across three positions: goalkeeper Nguyen Manh, center-back Manh Hung, right-back Dinh Hoang, midfielder Hoang Thinh, and Phi Son.
Than QN, the team that recently overtook HV.An Giang to take the top spot in the National First Division, also has four players called up, including goalkeeper Tuan Linh, central defender Tien Duy, midfielders Hai Huy and Minh Tuan.
In other competition categories, the Vietnam U23 team also brought together some of the best players such as goalkeeper Buu Ngoc, center-back Thanh Hao (TDCS.DT), center-back Tien Thanh (XM V.HP), midfielders Manh Dung, Danh Ngoc (V.NB), Van Thang (Thanh Hoa), Van Quyet (HN T&T)...
In the forward line, striker Mac Hong Quan, who is expected to play for Thanh Hoa from the 12th round of V-League 2013, is named alongside Ha Minh Tuan, Ngan Van Dai (SHB.DN), Hoang Thien (HA.GL), and Thanh Hien (TDCS.DT).
According to the plan, the players will arrive in Hanoi on May 28th. As for the Vietnamese-born striker Mac Hong Quan, after completing his final cultural exam in the high school graduation exam today, he will fly back to Hanoi on Sunday evening, May 25th, to join the U23 national team and finalize his contract with Thanh Hoa Club.
