'Finalizing' the 2021 high school graduation exam plan
The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued a document confirming that the 2021 high school graduation exam will be organized in a stable manner as in 2020, gradually preparing to be able to organize the high school graduation exam on computers in places with sufficient conditions.
The information is stated in the document guiding the quality management tasks for the 2020-2021 school year signed and issued by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Huu Do.
Accordingly,high school graduation examThe 2021 exam will be held in a stable manner as in 2020, aiming to accurately assess students' learning outcomes after 12 years of study according to the program's output standards, ensuring that the exam results reflect honestly, objectively, and accurately the students' level and capacity, with reliability and differentiation.
The exam results are used to consider high school graduation recognition for candidates and provide information to evaluate the quality of education, adjust the teaching and learning process to improve the quality of teaching in general schools.

One of the key tasks isMinistry of Education and TrainingThe objective is to do a good job in selecting personnel for the exam, and to improve the quality of professional training for all forces involved in organizing the exam. In particular, focus on providing professional training for officers performing inspection and supervision duties.
At the same time, prepare a standardized question bank large enough to serve the purpose of creating high school graduation exams, gradually preparing to be able to organize high school graduation exams on computers in places with sufficient conditions.
The Ministry of Education and Training also requested the Departments of Education and Training to prepare early and fully the conditions to organize the 2021 high school graduation exam well; develop contingency plans to handle risks that may occur during the exam organization process.
In addition, strengthen the direction of innovation in teaching methods, innovation in testing and regular and periodic assessment in the direction of assessing qualities and capacities, ensuring consistency and contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of organizing high school graduation exams.
