Uncle and nephew 'follow each other' in the net for drug retail
(Baonghean.vn) - After 17 days of the uncle's arrest, the nephew was also caught with 284 synthetic drug pills.
On January 26, 2022, Yen Thanh District Police (Nghe An) said that they were detaining Phan Van Phuc (born 2001), residing in Hamlet 01, Vien Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, for the act ofillegal possession of drugs
At about 6:00 p.m. on January 24, 2022, Yen Thanh District Police broke up a case and arrested Phan Van Phuc (born 2001), residing in Hamlet 01, Vien Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District, for illegal possession of drugs. Evidence seized from Phuc were 02 plastic bags containing 99 synthetic drug pills (pink pills).
Expanding the investigation and searching Phuc's house, the police seized an additional 185 synthetic drug pills (pink pills). The total amount of drugs seized in the case was 284 synthetic drug pills.

According to the police, Phan Van Phuc is the nephew of Phan Van Long (born in 1970), residing in Vien Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district. Phuc is a link in Phan Van Long's drug retail ring. Long was arrested by Yen Thanh district police on January 7, 2022.
The successful destruction of the case and arrest of Phuc has eliminated the drug retail point in the area, which has been recognized and highly appreciated by the people.
Currently, Yen Thanh District Police are completing the case file to prosecute Phan Van Phuc according to the law.
