(Baonghean.vn) - 200 starlings from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces gathered in the mountainous district of Tan Ky (Nghe An) to participate in the starling singing contest organized by the district's ornamental bird association.

The bird contest attracted 200 birds from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces.

According to the competition format, each bird goes through 14 rounds, each round lasts 10 minutes. To win the competition, the "contestants" must meet the following criteria: flexible "style"; singing voice and singing style must have clear vibrato and must have 3 syllables or more.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong's starling bird brought home the first prize, a Honda model 82.

After the "intense" rounds, bird number 158 of Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, in Vinh City, won first prize and brought home a Honda model 82 for its owner. Second prize went to the starling of Mr. Hoang Viet Thang, also in Vinh City, and third prize was awarded to Mr. Lam Nguyen from Do Luong district.
