(Baonghean.vn) –On the morning of August 27th, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a meeting to review the work of August and discuss tasks for September. Representatives from the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also participated in the meeting. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son, Member of the Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, chaired the meeting.
In August, the Provincial People's Council focused on several key tasks following its 9th session, including completing the post-session voter outreach activities of the Provincial People's Council representatives; and issuing a document requesting improvements in the quality of Provincial People's Council representatives in performing their duties. Additionally, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council also discussed personnel matters for the Standing Committees of the People's Councils of Hoang Mai and Quynh Luu towns; and organized oversight activities on the drafting, inspection, review, and systematization of legal documents in the province.
In August, the Provincial People's Council maintained its activities of receiving citizens, accepting and processing complaints and denunciations from citizens; maintaining special sections and pages to publicize the activities of People's Councils at all levels on Nghe An Newspaper and Nghe An Radio and Television Station.
