Chairman of Dong Do University Board of Directors is wanted
Tran Khac Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of the Institute of Continuing Education of Dong Do University, fled after being prosecuted for Forgery in work.

Decision to arrest Mr. Tran Khac Hung (47 years old) isThe Security Investigation Agency (Ministry of Public Security) signed on August 20. Authorities announced bAnyone has the right to immediately arrest and escort suspect Hung to the nearest police station, prosecutor's office or People's Committee or report to the Security Investigation Agency, Ministry of Public Security.
In early August, investigating violations at Dong Do University, the Security Investigation Agency prosecuted Mr. Hung (Chairman of the Board of Directors), Duong Van Hoa (Principal), Tran Ngoc Quang (Deputy Head of the Department of Training and Student Management) and two Dong Do University officials, Pham Van Thuy and Le Thi Luong, for the crime.Forgery at workaccording to Article 359 of the 2015 Penal Code.
According to the accusation, from the end of 2018 to the beginning of 2019, Dong Do University granted 600-700 second degrees with fees ranging from 28 to 35 million VND per degree. These second degree classes did not announce enrollment, did not establish an examination board, and did not approve the list of students and exam supervisors. Dong Do University's board of directors arranged exams in rooms without security cameras, and students only needed to copy the answers of 27 credits to complete the exit procedure. Students who copied quickly took more than a day to complete, while students who copied slowly took 2-3 days.
Currently, the police agency has clarified that nearly 460 diplomas have been used in many state and private agencies. The students are mainly officials and civil servants who need diplomas and foreign language certificates to get a salary increase, rank promotion, or take the recruitment exam.
