Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee has just held a ceremony to announce the Prime Minister's decision approving the results of the election to supplement the position of Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term.

Authorized by the Prime Minister, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province Nguyen Duc Long presented Decision No. 899/QD-TTg dated July 24, 2018 of the Prime Minister approving the results of the election to fill the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province for the 2016-2021 term for Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy of the 14th National Assembly, member of the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term.
The new Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, Nguyen Van Thang, thanked the provincial leaders for their affection for him and pledged that in his new position, he would strive to contribute his experience together with the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to successfully complete the targets and plans in 2018 and the following years.
Previously, at the 8th Session of the 13th Provincial People's Council, term 2016-2021, Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietinbank was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province for the term 2016-2021.
