President of the National Legislative Assembly of Thailand pays official visit to Vietnam
On August 13, a high-ranking delegation of the National Legislative Assembly of the Kingdom of Thailand led by His Excellency Pornpetch Wichitcholchai, President of the National Legislative Assembly, and his wife began an official visit to Vietnam (from August 13-16), at the invitation of Chairwoman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

President of the National Legislative Assembly of the Kingdom of Thailand Pornpetch Wichitcholchai was born on August 1, 1948; academic title: Professor of Law; educational qualifications: Bachelor of Laws, Chulalongkorn University, Master of Laws, Harvard University.
During his career, in 1978-1979, Mr. Pornpetch Wichitcholchai was a Judge of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Court; in 1979-1989, a Judge of the Ministry of Justice. In 1989-1992, he was the Chief Judge of the Nakhon Sawan Provincial Court; in 1992-1993, he was the Chief Judge of the Bangkok Northern District Court.
In 1993-1995, he was a Judge of the Criminal Court; in 1995-1998, a Judge of the Central Intellectual Property Court; in 1998-2000, a Deputy Chief Justice of the Central Intellectual Property Court.
From 2000 to 2003, he was a Judge of the Court of Appeal; from 2004 to 2013, a Judge of the Supreme Court; from 2013 to 2014, an Ombudsman of Thailand. From 2014 to present, he is the President of the National Legislative Assembly of the Kingdom of Thailand./.
