Chairman Kim Jong-un visits the North Korean Embassy in Vietnam
It is expected that on the evening of February 26, Chairman Kim Jong-un will meet and have dinner with staff of the North Korean Embassy.
At 5:00 p.m. on February 26, the Mercedes S600 Pullman Guard carrying Mr. Kim Jong-un departed from the Melia Hotel on Ly Thuong Kiet Street, heading to the North Korean Embassy 2 km away.

After about 10 minutes, the car stopped in front of the Embassy gate at 25 Cao Bat Quat Street, Mr. Kim was escorted by a team of bodyguards to the applause of the diplomatic staff. After about 2 minutes of greeting, the North Korean President went straight to the second floor of the building.
Outside, hundreds of police and riot police stood guard on Dien Bien Phu, Tran Phu, Hoang Dieu streets... In front of the North Korean Embassy gate, more than 30 police officers stood guard.

Earlier, at 8am the same day, the train carrying Chairman Kim Jong-un and his entourage stopped at Dong Dang station (Lang Son) after a journey of nearly 4,000km from Pyongyang (North Korea) through China. After about 30 minutes of reception, the delegation went by car to Hanoi and stayed at the Melia Hotel.
Mr. Kim Jong-un arrived in Hanoi to attend the US-North Korea summit on February 27-28. He and President Donald Trump are expected to discuss improving relations between Washington and Pyongyang, establishing lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula, denuclearization and repatriating the remains of soldiers killed in the Korean War.
