Overview of the meeting.

At the meeting, Professor Tran Thanh Van and Nobel Prize-winning professors recommended that President Tran Dai Quang and the Government pay more attention and support to projects that bring science to the public and to children, such as the Science Space Complex Project in Binh Dinh.

According to Professor Tran Thanh Van, these projects will help children have a scientific playground from a young age, stimulating children's passion for scientific exploration and discovery to train the future generation of Vietnam to have knowledge, capacity and dynamism to be able to integrate with the world.

The Professor also hopes that the President, the Government and the Central Ministries will help and support the Rencontres du Vietnam and Binh Dinh province to build the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE), so that Quy Nhon city can become a special annual scientific destination and meeting place for Vietnamese and international scientists to create opportunities for Vietnamese scientists and scientists from countries in the region to have access to top international scientific conferences.

Speaking to scientists at the meeting, on behalf of the Vietnamese State, President Tran Dai Quang expressed his gratitude for the enthusiastic support and assistance of international scientific organizations and scientists for Vietnam in general and Vietnamese science in particular.

In 2015, the International Center for Physics and the International Center for Mathematics Training and Research of Vietnam became two of the 66 natural science research facilities recognized and sponsored by UNESCO.
