President sends letter of condolences and encouragement to the family of Lieutenant Colonel Bui Van Nhien
On June 27, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc sent a letter of condolences and encouragement to the family of professional soldier Lieutenant Colonel Bui Van Nhien - officer of the Political Department, Factory Z 195, General Department of Defense Industry, Ministry of National Defense.

In the letter, the President expressed his great emotion upon hearing the news that professional soldier Lieutenant Colonel Bui Van Nhien had sacrificed his life while saving a drowning victim at Phu Quoc beach.
When he heard the cry for help from the person being swept away by the water, comrade Nhien immediately jumped into the sea with the rescuers to help save the victim. After bringing the victim safely to shore, comrade Nhien showed signs of exhaustion and was taken to the hospital by his teammates for emergency treatment but did not survive.
The President emphasized that Comrade Nhien's brave and selfless actions to save people contributed to beautifying the glorious and noble image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new era, and was a shining example of bravery and willingness to sacrifice for the people.
With deep sorrow, the President would like to send condolences to the family of professional soldier Lieutenant Colonel Bui Van Nhien, hoping that the family and unit will soon overcome this great pain and loss and forever be proud of him.
The President requested that relevant agencies urgently coordinate to propose honoring the bravery and sacrifice to save people and promptly have policies and regimes for comrade Bui Van Nhien and his family./.
