President leaves for APEC 23 Summit
On November 17, President Truong Tan Sang and his wife, along with a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, left Hanoi for Manila (Philippines) to attend the main activities of the 23rd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit Week, at the invitation of Philippine President Benigno Aquino.

The delegation included Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Binh Minh, Head of the Office of the President Dao Viet Trung, Deputy Minister of National Defense Le Chiem, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the Philippines Truong Trieu Duong, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Viet Tan, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Quoc Khanh, and Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vu Tien Loc.
The Vietnamese delegation attending this Conference aims to proactively contribute to the important contents of the Conference, especially issues related to the economy, human resource development, food security, issues related to small and micro enterprises... promoting an active role in APEC and proactively preparing to host APEC 2017./.
