President Nguyen Xuan Phuc offers incense in memory of the Hung Kings
After the ceremony at the Upper Temple, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the delegation laid wreaths at the Hung Kings' Tomb.
On the morning of April 21, the 10th day of the third lunar month, at the Hung Temple Historical Site, Viet Tri City, Phu Tho Province, an incense offering ceremony took place to commemorate and express gratitude for the merits of the Hung Kings.King Hung.President Nguyen Xuan Phucattended and offered incense. Also participating in the ceremony were Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Vo Van Thuong; Politburo member, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Truong Thi Mai; leaders and former leaders of the Party and State; leaders of a number of ministries, branches and localities.

Hung Kings' Commemoration Day is the national commemoration day, the day the whole country praises the Hung Kings' contributions to the country's founding. This year, the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day is held on April 17 and April 21 (March 6 and 10, Tan Suu year). The ceremony is held from March 6 of the lunar calendar, including the commemoration of the national ancestor Lac Long Quan and the offering of incense to commemorate the ancestor Au Co.
And today, the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month, is the incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings and the flower offering ceremony at the relief "Uncle Ho talking with officers and soldiers of the Vanguard Army". The venue is at the Hung Temple National Special Historical Site complex.

At around 7am this morning, the procession began its ceremony from the foot of Nghia Linh mountain, moving through Nghi Mon - Ha temple - Trung temple - up to Thuong temple. Leading the way was the national flag team, followed by the Hung Temple flag team with more than 100 people in traditional costumes.
Immediately after the ceremonial block, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the delegation of Party and State leaders, central and local agencies, and local people attended the festival.
At Kinh Thien Palace on the top of Nghia Linh Mountain, Mr. Bui Van Quang - Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee, on behalf of more than 90 million Vietnamese people at home and abroad, read the Congregation to honor the heroic spirits of the Hung Kings who built and defended the country, and respectfully offered incense to commemorate the Hung Kings. In the sacred moment of the death anniversary of the ancestors, millions of hearts of Vietnamese people at home and abroad turned to Hung Temple with sincere hearts, to remember and show gratitude to the Hung Kings, the ancestors who built and defended the country.
Before the heroic spirits of the Hung Kings, the children of Vietnam vow to continue the dragon tradition, to develop Vietnam into a strong country, to glorify the nation. The descendants of Lac Hong vow to forever remember the advice of President Ho Chi Minh: The Hung Kings had the merit of building the country, we, your descendants, must work together to protect the country.
After the ceremony at the Upper Temple, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc and the delegation laid a wreath at the Hung Kings' Mausoleum. The wreath read: "Forever grateful to the Hung Kings for their contributions to the founding of the country."
