President Nguyen Xuan Phuc visits VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 5, during his visit and working program in Nghe An, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Phuc - Politburo member, President visited and worked at VSIP Industrial Park; presented gifts to policy families and poor households; and visited former leaders of Nghe An province.
Joining the delegation, on the Central side were comrades: Le Khanh Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Office of the President.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Le Hong Vinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Duc Cuong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Major General Pham The Tung - Director of the Provincial Police.

Reporting at the working session with the President, Mr. Huynh Quang Hai - Vice Chairman of VSIP Group said that as of August 2022, VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park has attracted 33 investors with 36 projects, with a land lease area of more than 212 hectares/263.23 hectares, the occupancy rate reached more than 80%; of which, 22 investment projects have come into operation, creating initial jobs for more than 14,000 local workers.

The total investment capital in the industrial park is over 750 million USD, the production value in the first 6 months of the year reached over 4,600 billion VND. Currently, 42% of the projects are in the electricity, electronics and supporting industries.
In the industrial park, there are currently 15 foreign investment projects (FDI), with a total registered capital of 523.56 million USD, from the following countries and territories: Japan, Korea, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Sweden.

In VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park, there are a number of corporations manufacturing electronic products and smart devices that have invested and are investing, including: Luxshare ICT Project and Luxshare & Merry Project of Luxshare - ICT Precision Group with a scale of 20.66 hectares, investment capital of 180 million USD, which has been put into operation since June 2020. Everwin Precision Project has a scale of 43.22 hectares, investment capital of 200 million USD, expected to start construction in September 2022.
In addition, VSIP Group is investing in the construction and business of the infrastructure of Tho Loc Industrial Park Phase 1 with a scale of 600 hectares and an investment capital of VND 3,997 billion. The project has been approved by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; currently, the Ministry of Planning and Investment is appraising it to submit to the Prime Minister for approval of the investment policy.

After listening to the report of VSIP Group leaders, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised and highly appreciated the enthusiasm, responsibility, efforts and endeavors of the investor in investing in building a green industrial park with many high-tech projects. The success of the investor has contributed to growth, economic restructuring, increased budget revenue and job creation in Nghe An province.

The President asked VSIP Group to make more efforts, properly implement the approved planning, develop sustainably, contribute more value to Nghe An province in particular and Vietnam in general, and strive to become one of the famous industrial parks of Vietnam in the Central region.
On this occasion, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited and presented gifts to 15 families of meritorious people, policy families, and poor households in Hung Nguyen district - the hometown of General Secretary Le Hong Phong; and presented 100 gratitude houses to poor households in the province.

The President sent his regards and hoped that families would be self-reliant and self-reliant, with the support and assistance of Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and organizations, to escape poverty and have a better life.
On the same afternoon, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited Dien Phong commune, Dien Chau district, and presented gifts to comrade Nguyen Ba - former member of the Party Central Committee and former Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.
The President kindly asked about the health and all aspects of life of Comrade Nguyen Ba; at the same time, wished him good health and continued contributions to the development of his homeland.
