The President presents the candidates for the election of Vice President and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court.

On the afternoon of July 26, President Tran Dai Quang presented personnel for the National Assembly to elect the Vice President, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

Accordingly, the President submitted to the National Assembly for consideration the election of Ms. Dang Ngoc Thinh - Vice President for the 2011-2016 term (from April 2016) to hold the position of Vice President for the 2016-2021 term.

Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh - Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court for the 2011-2016 term (from April 2016) was introduced to the National Assembly for consideration and election to hold the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court for the 2016-2021 term.

Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh was introduced to the National Assembly for consideration and election to the position of Vice President.

Mr. Le Minh Tri, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy for the 2011-2016 term (from April 2016) was introduced to the National Assembly for consideration and election to hold the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy for the 2016-2021 term.

Tomorrow morning (July 27), the Standing Committee of the National Assembly will report to the National Assembly on the results of the discussion at the Delegation on the expected personnel to elect the Vice President, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, and Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy.

Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh continues to be introduced for the National Assembly to consider and elect to hold the position of Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court for the 2016-2021 term.

After listening to the President's report to the National Assembly on the explanation and accepting the opinions of the delegates, the National Assembly will vote to approve the list to elect the above positions.

The National Assembly elects the Vice President, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, and Chief Procurator of the Supreme People's Procuracy by secret ballot.
