On March 24, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh signed Decision No. 370/QD-CTN on posthumously awarding the Medal of Courage to Captain Sam Quoc Nghia (police officer of Que Phong district, Nghe An) for his brave actions in the fight against crime, contributing to protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety and defending the Fatherland.

Captain Sam Quoc Nghia, born in 1991, is an officer of the Criminal Investigation Police Team on criminal - economic - drug crimes - Que Phong District Police. Despite his young age, in 5 years of working in the unit, Captain Sam Quoc Nghia has won the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level 3 times.
In particular, at the Conference to commend good people and good deeds in the emulation movement For National Security in the period of 2015 - 2020 of emulation cluster No. 8 of units on National Highway 48A, he was honored as one of 20 outstanding faces.
