The President of Vietnam pays respects to the King of Thailand, Bhumipol Adulyadej.

The President wrote in the condolence book, expressing: "We deeply mourn the passing of King Bhumipol Adulyadej, the wise and revered monarch of the Thai people."

This morning (October 17), President Tran Dai Quang laid a wreath to pay respects to the late King Bhumipol Adulyadej of Thailand at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand in Hanoi.

Expressing condolences to the Queen, the Royal Family, the Government, the Legislative Council, and all the people of Thailand, President Tran Dai Quang wrote in the condolence book, stating: “We deeply mourn the passing of King Bhumipol Adulyadej, the wise and revered King of the Thai people.”

The leaders and people of Vietnam always cherish the kind sentiments that the King has shown towards the Vietnamese people, as well as the valuable contributions of the King to the friendly relations and strategic partnership between Vietnam and Thailand.

On behalf of the State and people of Vietnam, we express our deepest condolences to the Queen, the Royal Family, the Government, the Legislative Council, and all the people of Thailand for this immense loss.”
