North Korean Parliament Chairman Kim Yong-nam visits Americas
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on November 18 that Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of North Korea, Mr. Kim Yong-nam, will visit Cuba, Venezuela and Mexico.

In addition to Cuba, Kim Yong-nam will lead the North Korean delegation to Venezuela and Mexico.
North Korea and Cuba have strengthened diplomatic ties this year. Two vice chairmen of the ruling Workers' Party of Korea, Choe Ryong-hae and Ri Su-yong, visited Havana in July and August.
Earlier this month, Cuban President Miguel Mario Diaz-Canel Bermudez also paid a three-day visit to Pyongyang.
KCNA said that after arriving in Cuba, Mr. Kim Yong-nam will also visit Venezuela and attend the inauguration ceremony of Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador scheduled to take place on December 1./.
