National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue requested relevant units to soon conclude the contents serving the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly, scheduled to open on May 20 and close on June 28.
On the afternoon of April 23, in his closing speech at the 32nd session of the National Assembly Standing Committee, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that after 4.5 days of work, the session had completed the proposed contents.

During 4.5 working days, the Standing Committee discussed and gave opinions on 19 contents and written opinions on 3 reports of the Government.
Regarding legislative work, the meeting gave opinions on the law and ordinance making program for 2025 and adjusted the law and ordinance making program for 2024.
The National Assembly Standing Committee also discussed, reviewed and commented on six draft laws submitted to the National Assembly at its 7th session. Three contents will be transferred to the next session: the Law on Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue and two draft resolutions related to special mechanisms for Da Nang City and Nghe An Province.
Based on the conclusion of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Government, the Supreme People's Court, and relevant agencies are requested to promptly receive and complete dossiers and documents and send them to National Assembly deputies as prescribed.
Regarding supervision work, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue said that the National Assembly Standing Committee has commented on four supervision reports, including a report on the results of the implementation of the supervision program in 2023 and the first months of 2024, and the planned supervision program for 2025 of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee.
The National Assembly Chairman emphasized that 2025 is the last year of the term, so we will only focus on supreme supervision of one topic with the National Assembly and one supervision topic of the National Assembly Standing Committee, reducing the content related to thematic supervision.
Along with that, review the summary report on the results of monitoring legal documents in the areas under the responsibility of the Ethnic Council and the National Assembly's committees in 2023.
Also at the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave initial comments on the draft report on the results of thematic supervision of the implementation of policies and laws on ensuring traffic order and safety from 2009 to the end of 2023.
Based on these initial opinions, the agencies will finalize the report and send it to the National Assembly deputies for study and consideration when passing the draft Law on Roads and the Law on Road Traffic Safety and Order.
The National Assembly Chairman said that after each content had been concluded, the Secretary General of the National Assembly and the Office had submitted it for early promulgation. For the remaining contents, the Secretary General of the National Assembly would soon submit them to the Vice Chairmen of the National Assembly in charge for comments and early conclusions, so that the agencies have a basis for implementation and preparation of other contents for the 7th session.
According to the summons, the 7th session is expected to open on May 20 and close on June 28. The National Assembly will convene at the National Assembly House and will be held in two phases. The first phase will run from May 20 to the morning of June 8, and the second phase will run from June 17 to the morning of June 28.
