National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue successfully concludes official visit to Indonesia and Iran
The official visit to the Republic of Indonesia and attendance at the 44th AIPA General Assembly and the official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue achieved many very good results.
On the morning of August 11, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly arrived at Noi Bai Airport, successfully concluding their official visit to the Republic of Indonesia and attending the 44th AIPA General Assembly; and an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. The visit is of great significance in promoting the relationship between the two countries to a new height.
With nearly 60 activities in the two countries, a packed schedule right after landing at the airport, the official visit to the Republic of Indonesia and attendance at the 44th AIPA General Assembly; the official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the high-ranking delegation of our National Assembly achieved many very good results.
This was demonstrated through the warm and respectful welcome that the leaders of the two countries gave to National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, through the profound and comprehensive exchanges as well as through the concrete results for the relationship between the two countries. During the bilateral meetings, the leaders and politicians of the two countries affirmed their respect for the relationship with Vietnam and their special affection for the country and people of Vietnam.
The National Assembly of Vietnam - Indonesia and Vietnam - Iran signed a new cooperation agreement to suit the context of the relationship between the two countries as well as to strengthen cooperation between the two National Assemblies, agreeing to increase delegation exchanges, exchange experiences in legislative fields as well as coordinate supervision work and coordination in international forums. In addition, during this visit, relevant ministries and branches also signed many cooperation agreements in different fields. This is a milestone, an important starting point for bilateral cooperation.
In Indonesia, the Vietnamese National Assembly delegation led by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue attended the 44th AIPA General Assembly. National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue delivered a speech orienting the speeches of the Vietnamese delegation at this General Assembly. In that spirit, Vietnamese National Assembly deputies actively participated in AIPA Committee meetings as well as dialogues with observers.
On the occasion of attending the 44th AIPA General Assembly, the National Assembly Chairman also had bilateral meetings with leaders of the National Assemblies/Parliaments of other countries to discuss measures to further promote relations with regional partners as well as ASEAN observers, contributing to building a peaceful, stable and developed ASEAN.
One of the highlights of this working trip of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue was his policy speech before speakers and policy researchers from the two countries. Here, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue shared experiences in national development and implementing Vietnam's foreign policy, especially the experience of taking the people as the root as well as the values of peace and harmony in Vietnam's independent, autonomous and open foreign policy.
It can be affirmed that the official visit to the Republic of Indonesia and attendance at the 44th AIPA General Assembly and the official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue were extremely successful and opened up many new cooperations between the parties.
