North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to visit Russia
Information from the Kremlin said that President Kim Jong-un will visit Russia in the near future and it was planned in advance.
On March 4, an announcement from the Kremlin said that President of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong-un will visit Russia and have a working trip with President Vladimir Putin in the near future.

The statement stressed that the visit by the North Korean leader had been planned in advance. However, the Kremlin did not announce the time of the visit or the agenda that the two leaders would discuss.
"That visit is indeed in the plans. We hope that the specific time and place will be announced through diplomatic channels in the near future," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
In addition, a group of Russian parliamentarians will visit Pyongyang on April 12. Russian media said this is a preliminary meeting for Kim Jong-un's upcoming agenda with President Putin.
The announcement was made shortly after Kim Jong-un concluded his friendship visit to Vietnam and held his second summit with US President Donald Trump in Hanoi last week.
Russian President Vladimir Putin also said last year that he was ready to meet Kim Jong-un soon to discuss urgent bilateral relations and important regional issues.
