The Chinese president will visit the United States at the end of September.
According to THX, on September 16, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said that President Xi Jinping's upcoming visit to the United States would reinforce the Beijing leader's view that peace would benefit both countries while conflict would harm both sides.
Speaking at a forum organized by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Wang Yi added that President Xi Jinping's visit to the United States, from September 22-25, will focus on strengthening trust between the two countries and addressing concerns among US officials that Beijing and Washington are at odds over issues such as international relations and the Asia-Pacific regional order.

Wang Yi emphasized: "This visit is beneficial to friendly cooperation between China and the United States, as well as to world peace and development. It will undoubtedly be a significant milestone in China-U.S. relations."
During his visit to the United States, Xi Jinping is also expected to attend the summits commemorating the 70th anniversary of the United Nations at its headquarters in New York from September 26-28.
