Focus on high technology in strategic vision

According to Mr. Thien, in the age of information technology, the world is changing dramatically, Nghe An must also imagine the power and influence of technology that will completely change many sectors of trade, services, finance, industry, agriculture... The surplus of networks, labor, and investment facilities will occur in digital technology. In that condition, Nghe An needs a new approach, including the role of the digital economy.

Regarding this issue, Mr. Hoang Van Tam - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade also said: It is necessary to clarify why information technology and high technology in Nghe An have not yet developed; at the same time, it is necessary to practically incorporate the 4.0 technology revolution into the development strategy in the coming time.

Exploiting the special advantages of Vinh city

Regarding Nghe An's advantages, according to expert Tran Dinh Thien, in addition to land, labor, and geopolitical potential, there is also a special advantage that Vinh city is identified by the Central Government as a development center of the North Central region. Vinh's development will help Nghe An and the entire North Central region develop. Therefore, it is necessary to orient Vinh to become a creative and smart city.

In addition, Nghe An's advantage is tourism development, it is necessary to invest more strongly in promoting President Ho Chi Minh's hometown, strongly connecting with Ha Tinh, and thinking about how to make Nghe An a truly attractive "destination".

Regarding specialty agriculture, it is necessary to successfully build brands for some specialties to serve export goals.
