Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee encourages Nam Dan youth to join the army
On the morning of February 14, 20 districts, towns and cities in Nghe An simultaneously held the 2025 military enlistment ceremony.

In Nam Dan district, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh - Deputy Chief of the General Department of Politics, Vietnam People's Army attended the ceremony.
Also attending were Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 4 and leaders of the Political Department, Military Region General Staff.
The leaders of Nghe An province included comrade Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Military Service Council; Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command attending the Ceremony.
Also attending were comrade Nguyen Xuan Duc - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of Nam Dan District Party Committee; leaders of Nam Dan district and communes, towns, and many relatives of citizens called up for military service.

At exactly 8:00 a.m., the official military handover ceremony was held in a solemn, thoughtful, safe, and warm atmosphere between the army and the people.

After the traditional fire lighting ceremony and the drum beating ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nam Dan district Nguyen Hong Son - Chairman of the District Military Service Council kindly advised the new recruits to promote the tradition of the heroic Soviet homeland, the homeland of the great President Ho Chi Minh, to actively study and train, strictly comply with the Commands, Regulations and discipline of the Army and the People's Public Security, to excellently complete all assigned tasks, and strive for many comrades to become members of the Communist Party of Vietnam and outstanding cadres to serve the country and people in the future.


In 2025, Nam Dan district was assigned by the province to select and call 183 citizens to join the People's Army and the People's Police (166 citizens were called to join the People's Army and 17 citizens were called to join the People's Police).

The Military Service Council and military agencies at all levels of Nam Dan district have proactively coordinated closely with departments, branches, and socio-political organizations to perform well the advisory function to help the People's Committee at the same level focus on leadership, direction, and fully implement each stage and step in the tasks of preliminary selection, medical examination, and issuance of military enlistment orders... All levels, branches, and localities promptly organized meetings, gave gifts, and encouraged citizens to join the army.

183 citizens enlisted in the army all had good qualities, good ideology, and strictly followed the laws of the State and local regulations. Of these, 157 citizens had health conditions of type 1 and type 2, reaching 87.7%; 42 citizens attended training classes for Party members; 14 citizens had university, college, and intermediate degrees, and 13 young people had religious beliefs; especially, 78 citizens volunteered to join the army, accounting for nearly 43% of citizens enlisted, higher than the average of the province.

Representing 183 young men of the district who will join the army in 2025, new recruit Nguyen Quoc Khanh promised to maintain his will and determination, strive to study, practice, overcome difficulties, build a healthy, simple lifestyle, humbly learn, help each other progress; strictly comply with discipline, regulations and laws; always have peace of mind, actively train, stick together to build the unit, and complete assigned tasks well.

In the joyful atmosphere of the military enlistment day, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh - Deputy Chief of the General Department of Politics, Vietnam People's Army; Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of Military Region 4; Chairman of Nghe An People's Committee Le Hong Vinh; Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command and leaders of Nam Dan district went down to each row of soldiers to encourage and give flowers to congratulate the young men who were recruited for military service and joined the People's Public Security service before returning to their new units.

The leaders of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Military Region 4, Nghe An province believe that the youth of Nam Dan district will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition of their homeland, the enthusiasm of youth, love for the Fatherland, strive to train in the military environment; have good solidarity, strict discipline, strive to improve morality, train talent, and excellently complete assigned tasks.





In 2025, Nghe An will finalize the number of soldiers and issue a call-up order for 3,416 citizens to join the army (officially 3,254 citizens, reserve 162 citizens). Among them, there are 4 female citizens; 49 party members; 945 citizens registered to volunteer to join the army (reaching a rate of 30%); 1,105 young people have attended the Party training class; 210 young people have university, college, and intermediate degrees; 813 ethnic minority youths and 237 religious youths; health type 1 and type 2 accounts for more than 78.2%... These new recruits are assigned to 13 units; including 9 units of the Ministry of National Defense, 4 units of Military Region 4.
