Visiting and giving Tet gifts to 30 patients being treated at Nghe An Oncology Hospital, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong shared the difficulties and hardships, hoping that the patients and their families will feel secure in their treatment to overcome their illness.

Talking to the hospital's staff and doctors, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the unit's efforts and great contributions in treating patients with serious illnesses.

Nghe An Oncology Hospital was established in 2010 with only 50 beds and has now grown to over 800 beds. Over the years, the unit has deployed many new techniques, especially successfully performing radiotherapy for cancer patients.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee wished the team of doctors, nurses and employees a healthy New Year 2018, striving to build Nghe An Oncology Hospital into one of the prestigious oncology examination and treatment facilities with good service quality for patients in the North Central region.

Emphasizing that in 2017, the province achieved many encouraging results in all fields, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Provincial People's Committee Office to that overall result.
