(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2020), on the afternoon of July 18, comrade Tran Thanh Man - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the working delegation came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs.

At the Kim Lien relic site, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man and the delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense in memory, expressing their infinite gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - the outstanding son of Nghe An, the great leader of the Vietnamese people. He is the soul of the great national unity bloc.
Before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, the delegation vowed to be absolutely loyal to the communist ideal; to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style for life, and to forever follow the revolutionary path chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho.

Next, the working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate 13 heroic martyrs and youth volunteers at Truong Bon National Monument.
Before the heroic martyrs of the youth volunteers, comrade Tran Thanh Man and the delegation respectfully offered incense in memory, expressing their admiration and deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives at a very young age.
Here, the delegation also offered flowers and incense at the Martyrs' Temple. During the resistance war against the US to save the country, 1,240 officers and soldiers heroically sacrificed their lives at the "fire coordinates" of Truong Bon.

On the same day, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man attended the ceremony to present the Great Unity House to two families: Mr. Bui Tien Khoan (born in 1911) in My Son commune, Do Luong district and Mr. Le Tien Ho (born in 1936) in Nam Son commune, Do Luong district). These are two families that received support to build "Great Unity" houses from the Fund for the Poor of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Mr. Bui Tien Khoan used to participate in the frontline laborers and was awarded the Resistance Medal by the State. He is a poor family with 3 daughters. His wife died early, and he is living with his eldest daughter (who lost her husband). Mr. Khoan is now old, weak, and has no income. His current house is in disrepair.

Mr. Le Tien Ho also participated in the frontline laborers and guerrilla militia for many years, and was awarded the Resistance Medal by the State. His family is poor, with 7 members, and does not have a house. They are currently living and working in the family church. He has a disabled son, and his wife had a stroke and is in a wheelchair.
The delegation also visited and presented gifts to three families with revolutionary contributions in Anh Son town, Anh Son district, including: Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Viem (born in 1946, 2/3 class disabled soldier); Mr. Dang Ngoc Cong (born in 1940, 3/4 class disabled soldier); Mrs. Duong Thi Dan (born in 1940, 4/4 class disabled soldier, wife of Martyr Dang Xuan Thinh).

Comrade Tran Thanh Man kindly asked about the health and encouraged the families to strive to build a stable life and affirmed that the Party, State and people of Vietnam will forever remember the contributions of war invalids and martyrs - those who contributed their blood and bones to make the country what it is today.
Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man suggested that Nghe An province continue to pay attention to and take care of improving the lives of policy families and people with revolutionary contributions. He also hoped that the families would promote revolutionary traditions, be role models for the younger generation, and contribute to the locality in building the great national unity bloc and building an increasingly prosperous and beautiful country.
