Focus on security and infrastructure in basic information solutions

Attending the workshop were Mr. Le Ba Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Information and Communications; Phan Trong Bieu - Deputy Director of MobiFone Service Company, Region 6; related members and delegates from Vinh City, Cua Lo Town.

The workshop identified that grassroots communication is an important field, having a great influence in the propaganda work on the policies of the Party and the State as well as the authorities at all levels. Grassroots communication is an effective tool for information and propaganda work, helping information to be disseminated smoothly.

In addition, the current state of the grassroots information system has many limitations, affecting the urban aesthetic, and the quality of broadcasting and transmission is not effective. The traditional broadcasting system also causes noise and does not meet the requirements for propaganda content.

Delegates attending the workshop discussed issues related to the application and operation of the new generation of basic information communication systems introduced, focusing on information security, long-term performance and suitability for many forms of community activities, living characteristics of residential areas and infrastructure systems, investment costs and finding a unified direction for appropriate implementation.

Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Le Ba Hung - Director of the Department of Information and Communications expressed his agreement with new technological solutions in grassroots communication and information and affirmed that this is an inevitable and necessary trend to serve the purpose of propagating the Party and State's guidelines and policies and serving the work of grassroots authorities.
