(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 9th, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Internal Affairs Committee, chaired a meeting to review the implementation of Directive 03 of the Politburo on continuing to promote the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's moral example and Resolution 04 (11th Congress) "Some urgent issues concerning Party building work today" - Cluster III, including Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Cua Lo districts, Vinh City, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Quynh Luu, and Hoang Mai districts.

Joining the delegation were leaders from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Mass Mobilization Department, Organization Department, and Nghe An Newspaper.

In general, all areas in Cluster III, immediately after the implementation of the 2014 thematic study on "upholding a sense of responsibility, combating individualism, and ensuring words match actions," directed the Party committees to instruct departments and Party branches to guide cadres, Party members, Youth Union members, and association members in completing registration forms to follow the example of President Ho Chi Minh with specific and practical actions. Most registration forms creatively applied the content of the study and followed his example, closely aligned with their assigned responsibilities and duties, with many effective and practical approaches such as: enhancing a sense of responsibility, improving working methods, and being closely involved with the grassroots.

The units closely followed Plan 112-KH/TU dated January 13, 2014, of the Provincial Party Committee on implementing Directive 03, proactively developing plans for implementation in their respective units. Many good and creative movements and initiatives that brought practical results were developed and implemented by the Party committees, such as: savings boxes, rice savings jars, and shelters of love in Hoang Mai and Dien Chau districts… Or models like “Each teacher is a role model for self-learning in the school system,” “building happy families,” “clean house, clean garden” in the Women's Union, “loyal, creative, dedicated, and exemplary” civil servants in Hung Nguyen district; and the “Bowl of Compassion” initiated by the Youth Union in Nghi Loc district…

However, there are still instances of some Party members and civil servants violating professional ethics, with words not matching actions. Many Party members register but lack concrete actions, making it merely a formality. Many Party committees and branches have not properly understood the implementation of the directive; in some places and at some times, it is taken lightly, implemented superficially, and formally; many registration forms are copied, spread out, and merely for show…

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Van Thong commended the achievements and emphasized the need for more innovative and effective approaches in implementing the campaign in each locality and unit. To ensure the practical effectiveness of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example, each Party committee should integrate the study into its assigned political tasks through concrete actions. This will prevent situations where some Party branches do not prioritize leadership, guidance, supervision, and inspection, and where Party members and officials do not link the campaign to their responsibilities and duties.
