According to a source from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnamese Consulate General in San Francisco (USA) said that up to this point, there have been no recorded cases of Vietnamese casualties in the massacre that took place in Las Vegas on the night of October 1.
The Consular Department (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam) said it is continuing to closely contact Vietnamese diplomatic agencies in the US and the US Department of State to update information. If there are Vietnamese victims, Vietnamese diplomatic agencies will promptly implement support measures and carry out citizen protection procedures.

US police have identified the suspect as Stephen Paddock, 64. He committed suicide before police stormed the 32nd floor hotel room where he opened fire on the concert crowd below.
