Black mink is not considered a new breed of pet.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has just issued an official dispatch on the revocation of Circular No. 36/2013/TT-BNNPTNT. Accordingly, on July 23, 2013, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development issued Circular No. 36/2013/TT-BNNPTNT on recognizing the black mink as a new breed of livestock and including it in the list of additional breeds of livestock permitted for production and business in Vietnam.



However, due to technical errors, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development requested agencies, units and localities to withdraw and not implement Circular No. 36, which means not considering black mink as a new breed of livestock, allowed to be produced and traded in Vietnam.
