Phuc Thanh Pagoda donated 200 gift packages to the Dan Lai people.
(Baonghean)On January 11th, Phuc Thanh Pagoda (Hung Chau commune, Hung Nguyen district), led by Venerable Thich Dinh Tue and 20 Buddhist followers from the Huong Sen Buddhist group in Nghe An province, donated gifts to the Dan Lai people in Bung and Co Phat villages, Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district.

These are two remote border villages – located in the core area of Pù Mát National Park – where the Dan Lai ethnic minority lives and faces many difficulties. The delegation coordinated with officers and soldiers of the Mon Son Border Guard Post (Nghe An Border Guard Command), the Party Committee, and the government of Mon Son commune to organize the donation of gifts to the ethnic minority households and students in the two villages. The total amount of gifts was 200 packages, including: 200 fleece blankets, 200 bottles of cooking oil, 200 packets of salt, 1 ton of rice, 171 warm jackets for elementary school students, medicine worth 500,000 VND, and some clothing, totaling 56 million VND.
