Execution by lethal injection cannot be carried out from June 27th.
However, Lieutenant General Cao Ngoc Oanh, Director General of the General Department of Police for Prison Management, stated that, as of now, we have not yet prepared the necessary facilities to implement execution by lethal injection. Therefore, no executions will be carried out using this method on June 27th and in the following days.
"When we are ready to proceed, we will announce it to the press," Mr. Oanh said.
