(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 21, a delegation from the Ministry of National Defense of the Lao PDR had a working session in Nghe An on preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony of the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House.

Attending the working session, on behalf of the Lao PDR Ministry of National Defense delegation, there was Major General Pa Sit Thieng Tham - Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Lao People's Army as head of the delegation. On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Hai Duong - Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs; representatives of the Management Board of Kim Lien Relic Site; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office, relevant departments, branches and units.

Implementing the memorandum of understanding between the leaders of Nghe An province, the working delegation of Lao PDR and Viettel Group at Kim Lien relic site on April 26, 2010 on the plan to upgrade and repair the Stilt House at Kim Lien relic site, the working delegation of the Ministry of National Defense of Lao PDR visited and worked in Nghe An from July 21 to 24.

During the first working session this afternoon (July 21), the two sides discussed the plan for preparations for the groundbreaking ceremony of the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial House, which will take place on the morning of July 22 at the Kim Lien Relic Site, Nam Dan District; including the expected program of the ceremony, participants, and agreed on the rituals for the groundbreaking ceremony.
