Thorough preparations are underway for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Hoa Sen Steel Sheet Factory in Nghe An.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 17th, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to discuss the plan for the groundbreaking ceremony of the Hoa Sen Nghe An Steel Sheet Factory in Dong Hoi Industrial Park and the inauguration ceremony of Phase I of the Hoa Sen Nghe An Steel Sheet Factory in Nam Cam Industrial Park. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee – presided over the meeting. Also present were Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of various departments and agencies; leaders of Vinh City, Hoang Mai Town, and Cua Lo Town; and leaders of Hoa Sen Group.

The Hoa Sen Group's Nghe An Factory project, located in the Dong Hoi Industrial Park, Hoang Mai Town, covers an area of ​​35 hectares and will produce various products such as corrugated iron and steel pipes, with a total investment of 3,500 billion VND. Although the site survey was only conducted on May 29th, due to its advantageous location for trade – being close to National Highway 1A to the west, bordering the sea to the east, and far from residential areas – Hoa Sen Group has decided to proceed with the construction of the Nghe An Factory there. Currently, the province has handed over 2.6 hectares of land to the investor, and the investor has already leveled 0.6 hectares. The groundbreaking ceremony will take place on June 19th, and the first batch of products is expected to be shipped in April 2016.

In Nghi Loc district, the Hoa Sen Nghe An Steel Sheet Factory Project in the Nam Cam Industrial Park is being built on an area of ​​12 hectares, comprising 3 phases with a total investment of over 2,300 billion VND. The factory's scale includes: 12 steel pipe production lines with a designed capacity of 100,000 tons/year; a color-coated steel sheet production line with a designed capacity of 100,000 tons/year; an aluminum-zinc alloy steel sheet production line with a total designed capacity of 400,000 tons/year; a cold rolling line with a total designed capacity of 400,000 tons/year; an acid regeneration line with a designed capacity of 300 liters/hour; a pickling line with a designed capacity of 400,000 tons/year; and a CNC steel rolling mill with a designed capacity of 24 rolling mills/day. To date, phase 1 of the factory has been completed and has produced its first batch of products, which have been highly appreciated by customers.

At the meeting, after hearing reports from departments, agencies, corporations, and companies organizing the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies, Comrade Le Ngoc Hoa stated that the preparations were basically complete. Any remaining tasks by any unit were requested to be completed as soon as possible. If any issues arise, they should be reported to the organizing committee and the Provincial People's Committee for timely solutions.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong emphasized that Hoa Sen Group is a major investor in Nghe An province. The group has many reputable partners, including foreign partners. This time, Mr. Le Phuoc Vu - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hoa Sen Group - will invite many partners to Nghe An to attend the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies to explore investment opportunities in the province, the birthplace of President Ho Chi Minh. Therefore, he requested that departments, agencies, and localities prepare thoroughly to leave a good impression on investors. This will once again contribute to promoting the province's dynamic and open investment environment, attracting more investors to Nghe An and creating more opportunities for Nghe An's development.
