Making good preparations for the 11th session of the 16th Provincial People's Council.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 25th, under the chairmanship of Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a regular meeting to evaluate the work of June and identify some key tasks for July.

Attending the conference were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Dinh Thi Le Thanh – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Vo Viet Thanh – Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee; representatives of the Nghe An National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

In June, the Standing Committee and the Committees of the Provincial People's Council organized assessments and summaries of monitoring and survey activities conducted by delegations on citizen reception, handling of complaints and denunciations; the handover and return of rural electricity grids; the progress of investment and construction projects in the province; the progress of construction of suspension bridges, management and maintenance of suspension bridge systems; and the implementation of policies and laws on reproductive health, sexual health among youth in the province. Based on this, the Standing Committee and the Committees of the Provincial People's Council made recommendations to relevant levels and sectors and proposed several solutions to address related issues. Also in June, the Standing Committee and the Committees of the Provincial People's Council, in coordination with the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, completed the voter outreach program before the session; participated in the review of several contents and proposals to be presented at the upcoming 11th session of the Provincial People's Council. Activities related to citizen reception and handling of complaints and denunciations were also discussed. Propaganda work continues to be given attention and carried out effectively.

At the conference, after listening to the opinions and proposals of the delegates, Comrade Nguyen Xuan Son emphasized: The main task in July is to successfully organize the 11th session. Therefore, he requested the People's Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee, together with the Standing Committee and the Committees of the Provincial People's Council, to closely coordinate in preparing reports, draft presentations, and resolutions for review, comments, and revisions before submission to the session, ensuring they are concise, succinct, and of high quality. Attention should be paid to monitoring and urging each assigned task, proactively handling all matters; organizing a press conference before the session as prescribed. Proactively organizing meetings with voters after the session; participating in the meeting of the Standing Committee of the People's Councils of the six North Central provinces; and continuing to urge the implementation of the 2013 Constitution and the Law on Citizen Reception, which came into effect on July 1, 2013.
