(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of October 8th, in Vinh City, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee organized a conference to disseminate and guide the implementation of Directive No. 36-CT/TW (dated May 30, 2014) of the Politburo on party congresses at all levels.Towards the 12th National Congress of the Party.

Preparations for the congress must be reformed in a practical and effective manner, promoting democracy while upholding Party discipline and order, ensuring strengthened unity, and enhancing the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees and organizations. All work, from preparing documents, personnel matters, and electing Party committees; to the number of delegates and the timing of Party congresses at all levels, must be conducted rigorously, seriously, democratically, and objectively.

Also at the conference, Comrade Tran Hong Chau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, disseminated the requirements of Plan No. 159-KH/TU dated September 19, 2014, of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on implementing Directive No. 36-CT/TW. Accordingly, the provincial, district, and grassroots-level conferences for dissemination should be completed in October 2014, and Party committees and Party branches need to establish subcommittees to assist in the congress; Selecting model units for the Party Congress, drawing lessons learned... Comrade Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, emphasized several points to note regarding personnel work in preparation for the Party Congresses at all levels, in accordance with Guidance No. 26-HD/BTCTW dated August 18, 2014, of the Central Organization Department and Guidance No. 05-HD/BTCTU dated September 19, 2014, of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department on personnel work for Party committees at the grassroots and higher-level Party congresses for the 2015-2020 term.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - noted that there is not much time left to prepare for the grassroots and higher-level party congresses. Therefore, he requested that delegates, who are key leaders of party committees, departments, agencies, districts, and towns, implement the contents and guiding documents of the Central Committee and the province; prepare the best possible documents and personnel; closely monitor the grassroots level and effectively resolve emerging issues; and ensure the quality of party congresses at all levels for the next five-year term.
