Car seat position memory is a convenient function that helps to remember and automatically readjust the seat position that the user has previously set. This function helps to limit the driver's operations when driving; saving time to reset the driver's seat position to suit each person's stature.
The seat memory function in cars was previously only equipped on luxury car brands. Currently, many popular car models also integrate this function.
Normally, the seat position memory is performed by a computer box that controls the car body system; through the control switch integrated in the seat (position control ECU), it will perform the functions of sliding, tilting, lifting and lowering and recovering the seat position.
How to use the seat memory function

Depending on the car model, the number of seat positions is different. Some cars are equipped with electric seats with 2, 3 or 4 position memory function to meet the needs of many users. Normally, current car models often have 3 seat memory positions.
To use this function, first start the car; then adjust the seat cushion, backrest, steering wheel, and rearview mirror positions to the desired position. Once adjusted, press and hold the Setup button (some cars are often marked with the letter M), along with the number 1 button right below, after 3 - 5 seconds, the position memory function will be activated through a warning sound, accompanied by a flashing signal light.
