Happy Bunpimay to the armed forces and people in the border area of Laos
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the traditional Bunpimay New Year of the Lao ethnic people, for 2 days (April 13 and 14), units of the Nghe An Border Guard coordinated with local authorities to visit, congratulate the New Year and give gifts to border guards and people of Lao villages.

Keng Du Border Guard Station in coordination with Keng Du Commune, Ky Son District visited and wished a Happy New Year to officers and soldiers of Border Guard Company 223; people of 2 hamlet clusters (Po Nhia and Huoi Lom), people of 2 border hamlets Co Du and Pieng Hong, Noong Het District, Xieng Khouang Province, twinned with Keo Con and Keng Du hamlets. On this occasion, Keng Du Border Guard Station presented gifts worth 10 million VND to 2 poor students from Laos that the unit and Ngoc Lam Border Guard Station sponsored in the program "Helping children go to school" for the 2021-2022 school year.
Nam Can Border Guard Station in coordination with Nam Can Commune, Ky Son District visited, wished a Happy New Year and presented gifts to Border Guard Company 222 and people of Nam Ngat Hamlet, Muong Moc District, Xieng Khouang Province, Laos. Nam Can Border Guard Station presented gifts worth 5 million VND to Va Ba Lenh (an 8th grade student from Laos) sponsored by the unit in the program "Helping you go to school" for the 2021-2022 school year.
