EURO 2024 qualifying play-off final: Who will get the last three tickets?
EURO 2024 qualifying has reached its final stage with the play-off finals taking place tomorrow night to find the final 3 names to participate in the tournament in Germany.
Accordingly, Georgia will meet Greece, Ukraine will face Iceland, and Wales will face Poland in the last 3 matches of the EURO 2024 qualifiers.
Georgia - Greece: Equally strong
Georgia are just 90 minutes away from qualifying for their first major tournament when they host Greece in the Euro 2024 qualifying play-off final in Tbilisi. Willy Sagnol's side booked their place with a 2-0 win over Luxembourg, while Greece beat Kazakhstan 5-0.
A trip to Germany, if it happens, would see Georgia rise quickly from the ashes, while they have also been promoted from the fourth to the second tier of the Nations League.
A 3-1 defeat to Spain last September was Georgia's only defeat in their last five games in all competitions. That run has also seen Sagnol's side score at least twice in four of those games, and the last time they failed to score at home was in June 2022.
However, Greece are not an easy opponent either, as Gustavo Poyet's team defeated an in-form Kazakhstan team with a convincing score of 5-0. They will arrive in Tbilisi with only 1 loss in their last 6 matches.
Apart from that 0-1 loss to the Netherlands, each of Greece's five unbeaten games has seen them score at least two goals. Greece have also avoided defeat in nine meetings with Georgia, winning seven of those.

Ukraine - Iceland: Ticket to the next round for Ukraine?
The Euro 2024 qualifying play-offs will conclude in Poland, where Ukraine and Iceland will battle it out for a place in Germany. Sergiy Rebrov's Ukraine won 2-1 against Bosnia-Herzegovina to reach the final, while their Nordic opponents demolished Israel 4-1.
Rebrov's side will enter the final in good form and spirit, having won three of their last four games. Ukraine's only two defeats in their last 12 games in all competitions have come against Italy and England.
Ukraine have gone nine home games unbeaten in EURO qualifying since a 1-0 defeat to Spain in October 2015 and have not conceded two or more goals in a single match since a 2-2 draw with France in November 2007.
The above statistics suggest that Iceland will have a long way to go to return to Europe's top competition since reaching the quarter-finals in 2016. However, Iceland - now under the guidance of Age Hareide - are no strangers to success against Ukraine, winning 2-0 in September 2017 in a 2018 World Cup qualifier, while two of the other three meetings between the two sides have ended in draws.
Wales - Poland: Away team dominates
Rob Page's men demolished Finland 4-1 in the semi-finals, while their visitors barely broke a sweat with a 5-1 win over Estonia.
Wales are no strangers to play-offs, having qualified for the 2022 World Cup this way. As well as being blessed with home advantage, Wales head into the final on a seven-match unbeaten run in all competitions and have scored in each of their last six matches.
Wales may have suffered an embarrassing 4-2 defeat to Armenia just nine months ago, but that was their only defeat in their last 16 home games in EURO qualifying. Having played in every continental tournament since 2008, Poland also come to Wales on a remarkable unbeaten run, having avoided defeat in their last five games under Probierz so far. Furthermore, since losing their first meeting with Wales in 1973, Poland have not lost to the Dragons in their next nine meetings in all competitions, winning each of their last six between 2001 and 2022.
Which group will they fall into?
The winner of Wales vs Poland in Bracket A will be placed in Group D, which already includes the Netherlands, Austria and France. Meanwhile, the winner of Ukraine vs Iceland in Bracket B will be placed in Group E with Belgium, Slovakia and Romania.
Finally, the winner of the Georgia - Greece match in bracket C will join group F with Türkiye, Portugal and Czech Republic.
