'We believe Nghe An will achieve its goals'

Nghe An is located in the center of the North Central region, has good infrastructure, has an airport, has Cua Lo international port, has a synchronous system of roads, railways, and waterways. The work of improving the investment environment is always of interest to the provincial leaders, the team is united and determined in management.

But Nghe An still has many challenges.

First of all, Nghe An in particular and the North Central provinces in general are still poor provinces, the reality of attracting investment is still limited. The North Central region is facing difficulties such as low starting point, increasing disparities in economic development, awareness, and opportunities between regions, frequent natural disasters, and human resources that do not meet requirements.

The general goal of Resolution 26/TU of the Politburo set for Nghe An by 2020 is: To enhance the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, strengthen solidarity and unity, promote internal strength, attract external strength to strive to build Nghe An into a fairly developed province in the Northern region by 2015, creating the foundation for Nghe An to basically become an industrial province by 2020.

To achieve the above goal, the role of investment attraction is extremely important. We evaluate Nghe An, the solidarity of the Party, the joint support of all levels and sectors. Our idea is to see Nghe An in regional and national linkages.

Nghe An needs to do a good job in building planning, plans, and policy mechanisms. Focus on announcing approved plans. Focus on administrative reform, simplifying processes and procedures for investors, ensuring consistency in processes and procedures at the local level.

Maximize resources to develop infrastructure, especially non-budgetary resources, prioritizing the fields of water supply, drainage, and environmental sanitation.

Develop human resources, vocational training linked to output to meet the high-tech labor demand of investors. Forecast labor demand including quantity and occupational structure to have appropriate training plans, meeting the labor demand of investment projects.

Regarding investment promotion: Always accompany businesses throughout the process, proactively remove all difficulties for businesses; Strengthen high-level promotion. With the determination and enthusiasm of cadres, party members and people in the province, I believe Nghe An will achieve its goals.
